Tour Guide – German, French Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Become a member of our dedicated team of Tour Conductors.

• Act as the VIVENTURA host, daily guide, interpreter, and manager for a group of senior travelers (small size 6-12 people) during a 2- to 3-week journey across multiple countries.

• Provide guidance for our travelers, ensuring their well-being, safety, and a seamless tour experience.

• Strive to adhere closely to the planned travel itinerary, making adjustments only when absolutely necessary.

• Maintain composure during stressful situations, act according to established protocols in exceptional circumstances, and offer flexible solutions independently.

• Ensure that the services provided by our partners align with our quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

• Monitor daily expenses, collect receipts, and manage costs within the allocated trip budget.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient knowledge (C2 level) of French or German for client communication, in addition to fluency in Spanish.

• Possession of all necessary permissions to work and guide within your country.

• Certified in First Aid (CPR and Heimlich maneuver).

• In-depth knowledge (and a commitment to continual learning) about South America as a travel destination, along with a passion for showcasing it.

• Interest in promoting sustainable, local, and authentic travel experiences.

• Engaging, dependable, and well-organized personality.

• Good health, high energy levels, and a positive outlook; we seek Tour Conductors who can manage the mental and physical demands of long, tiring days.

• Embody the friendly, cheerful, and helpful image of VIVENTURA.

• Practical experience with the internet, email, and Google platforms, along with a smartphone capable of running Android 14 or above or iOS 13 or above.
