This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and enhance Ashby’s global compensation framework, which includes compensation bands, alignment of job levels, market positioning, review schedules, benchmarking methods, and guidelines for offers, promotions, refreshers, and market adjustments.
• Design principled, practical, and scalable compensation structures and governance.
• Utilize market data, internal metrics, and external trends to track market movements and influence compensation choices.
• Oversee Ashby’s Total Rewards strategy encompassing compensation, equity, benefits, and perks on a global scale.
• Assess programs and suggest enhancements while balancing market competitiveness, internal equity, business requirements, and sustainability.
• Direct the global benefits strategy, including selection, evaluation, vendor and broker management, renewals, design reviews, and administrative tasks.
• Manage and operationalize equity programs in collaboration with Finance and company leadership.
• Enhance Total Rewards systems, workflows, documentation, and operational procedures utilizing tools like CandorIQ, Pave, and OpenComp.
• Employ automation, AI, and operational design to boost efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.
• Act as the Total Rewards subject matter expert, collaborating with Finance, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, and functional leaders.
• Establish documentation, operational rhythms, standards, and decision-making frameworks to prepare the function for scaling.
• Start as an individual contributor and transition into people management as the function expands.
• Several years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, with significant ownership of compensation, benefits, and equity programs in high-growth environments.
• In-depth expertise in compensation, with experience in creating compensation programs and frameworks from the ground up.
• Thorough understanding of centralized principles with specific adaptations for various functions.
• Capability to navigate ambiguity using data, sound judgment, and business context.
• Experience in building and scaling compensation frameworks and benefits programs for globally distributed organizations.
• Ability to support leaders with diverse needs while ensuring trust, consistency, and quality of decisions.
• Strong strategic and execution skills, comfortable being the primary owner of day-to-day operations.
• Outstanding communication skills for articulating complex Total Rewards concepts.
• Detail-oriented and operationally adept, focused on enhancing systems, processes, and program quality.
• Experience in leading or managing teams, or a willingness to contribute to the development and scaling of a future Total Rewards team.
