Total Loss Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Investigate, assess, negotiate, and adjust auto claims of low to moderately complex nature.

• Verify coverage and establish legal liability.

• Fairly settle or defend claims while adhering to state regulatory standards.

• Assist and guide customers throughout the total loss damages process.

• Identify and pursue recovery options.

• Deliver claims services through a variety of channels to both policyholders and third-party clients.

• Utilize knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance products, policy contracts, coverages, and claims procedures.

• Seek advice and recognize issues that require escalation.

• Collaborate with or direct vendors and internal partners to streamline claims resolution.

• Contribute to business objectives and performance metrics by leveraging tools and technology.

• Provide support during workload peaks and catastrophe operations as required.

• Acknowledge significant life events, comprehend customer needs, and offer suitable solutions.

• Experience in a phone-intensive contact center environment utilizing a headset.

• Ability to cultivate lasting relationships with both internal and external customers and business partners.

• Proficient in a Windows operating environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to implement and adapt to swift changes.

• Proficient in navigating and operating within multiple systems concurrently.

• Ability to work effectively in an AI-enhanced environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Minimum of 1 year of claims adjusting experience is required.

• A valid Insurance Adjuster License is required.

• Ability to work the preferred schedule from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm CST.
