Tooling Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Assist in creating the developer experience for a cloud platform rebuilt from the ground up — including CLIs, SDKs, and integrations that ensure a seamless experience for millions of users on limited servers.

• Design an exceptional developer experience for a transformative cloud platform.

• Develop and sustain developer tools across the platform, such as CLIs, TUIs, and SDKs.

• Enhance and refine integrations with tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and GitHub Actions.

• Collaborate with APIs and integration points to create a native feel within existing developer workflows.

• Contribute to both frontend and backend systems that support the dashboard and overall self-service experience.

• Assist in deploying and monitoring all external-facing services, from our website to our dashboard.

• Prototype new platform functionalities such as sandboxed environments and remote builds.

• Strong engineering principles.

• Capability to contribute across backend and tooling, particularly in Go.

• Interest or experience in developing developer tools, CLIs, or system utilities.

• Proficiency in working with APIs and integrations.

• Ability to navigate complexity and adapt to a rapidly evolving platform.
