This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Partner with web3 organizations to create and implement resilient tokenomic frameworks that promote ecosystem growth and sustainability.
• Generate detailed reports and whitepapers that clearly express the foundational principles, strategies, and mechanisms of token economies.
• Formulate valuation models, governance frameworks, and other essential components to guarantee the long-term success of clients' initiatives.
• Aid in ecosystem evaluations by collecting and analyzing data, producing insightful reports using Python-based data analysis and visualization tools, with a focus on critical aspects of the ecosystem.
• Assist in crafting litepapers that summarize the fundamental principles of proposed cryptoeconomic frameworks, emphasizing quantitative insights where applicable.
• Develop and sustain Python-based valuation and statistical models to assess tokenized systems, concentrating on key metrics.
• Utilize frameworks (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn) to conduct basic simulations or stress tests across various scenarios.
• Contribute to the design of token economic systems by employing quantitative methods (e.g., mathematical modeling of incentive mechanisms, liquidity provisioning, emissions schedules), aiding senior team members in refining and testing these models.
• Collaborate in the creation of governance frameworks, using data analysis to guide on-chain and off-chain governance structures, community involvement, and participation methods.
• Assist in improving governance structures post-launch by analyzing essential governance metrics, addressing inquiries, and updating project literature based on quantitative discoveries.
• Support the development of whitepapers, iterating on the technical and data-driven sections to ensure they align with industry standards for public presentation.
• Proactively research emerging tokenomic models and apply statistical or Python-based analyses to uncover new trends in the web3 sector, sharing quantitative insights with the team.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience (or substantial internship exposure) in mathematical or statistical modeling, preferably using Python for data analysis and model development.
• Understanding of Web3 concepts (tokens, blockchains, cryptocurrency) and a desire to explore deeper aspects of smart contracts, DAOs, and on-chain mechanics.
• Extensive experience with tokens, covering creation, minting, yield farming, issuing, burning, and staking.
• Solid grasp of financial models (NPV, discount rates, bonding curves) and fundamental statistical methods (regression, hypothesis testing), with a willingness to learn more advanced techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in Python (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn) and Excel; eager to learn additional data-analysis tools as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A self-motivated and driven individual.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
• Flexible working hours and options for remote work.
• Opportunities for professional growth and development.
• Access to industry conferences and networking events.
