Title Examiner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct title examinations and review the chain of title for a diverse array of title matters/issues (mainly residential).

• Evaluate records such as mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, and plat and map books to ascertain ownership and legal constraints, as well as to confirm the legal description of property and the completeness of records.

• Address most issues, including missing information, and incomplete, inaccurate, or contradictory details found in the title documentation.

• Assess title commitments for precision and implement necessary amendments.

• May offer underwriting interpretations within established guidelines.

• Additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Florida is required.

• A minimum of 4 years of directly related experience.

• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.

• High School diploma or equivalent is necessary.
