Tier 3 Technical Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine extensive datasets comprising device telemetry, metrics, and error logs to detect performance trends and system irregularities.

• Work alongside Product Management to extract, define, and document precise technical and functional specifications for new firmware.

• Collaborate with Product Management to formulate and implement test cases that assess hardware and firmware efficiency across various network conditions.

• Support Tier 3 Engineers in investigating intricate technical escalations from customer support to pinpoint firmware bugs, hardware defects, or environmental factors.

• Utilize device data to identify occurrence rates and patterns.

• Convert raw data from device and system logs into actionable business insights by developing dashboards and technical reports for Product Management and Engineering teams to facilitate data-driven product decisions.

• Work in partnership with Engineering, Developers, Product Managers, and Quality Assurance teams to verify device performance following software and hardware releases.

• Collaborate with customers as necessary to test in real-world environments to replicate issues for data collection and/or confirm the success of proposed fixes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or QA testing, particularly with CPE hardware.

• Demonstrated capability to not only present data findings but also articulate their implications for the company’s financial performance and customer experience.

• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Domo, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Strong aptitude for interpreting complex data structures and log files.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (Snowflake).
