This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Address customer support inquiries via incident tickets, phone calls, and email.
• Engage with clients in a professional and timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve issues effectively.
• Uphold high-quality customer service standards across all communication channels.
• Record resolutions and create knowledge base articles.
• Take a proactive stance on incidents to reduce recurring problems.
• Troubleshoot complex issues while maintaining a broad understanding of client environments.
• Participate in ongoing certification training to enhance skills.
• Opportunities available to contribute to internal projects and designs.
• Commitment to obtaining and maintaining relevant certifications for vendor partnership levels.
• Availability to join an on-call rotation as needed.
• Monitor time, activities, and communications through Magna5’s suite of applications.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in administering and supporting networking technologies.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• Enjoy working collaboratively in a team setting while managing multiple customer issues simultaneously.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on the urgency of requests.
• A strong sense of curiosity and a passion for learning new technologies.
• The ideal candidate will have a knack for troubleshooting and innovative problem-solving.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and serve as a role model for others.
• Experience in Managed Service Provider (MSP) or professional services is a plus.
• Familiarity with designing and implementing network topologies that include switches and routers.
• Strong knowledge of firewall operations such as NAT/PAT and VPN.
• Experience with EIGRP/OSPF/BGP, MPLS/VPLS is advantageous.
• Understanding of Radius/LDAP/802.1x protocols.
• Knowledge of Spanning-Tree and Port-Channels.
• Experience with High Availability concepts: HSRP/VRRP, A/A and A/P.
• A grasp of SD-WAN, QoS, and Traffic Shaping principles.
• Relevant networking certification or a willingness to obtain one is highly preferred.
