Thermal Technical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete development and delivery process of thermal hardware for various spacecraft configurations.

• Work in collaboration with engineering teams to establish performance and testing criteria for both internally and externally sourced components.

• Create and implement project plans, which include prioritization, scheduling, and delivery milestones.

• Provide consistent project updates to leadership, detailing the status of scope, schedule, and budget.

• Facilitate regular meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners or vendors.

• Supervise the processes for component qualification and validation testing.

• Identify, monitor, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies or escalating as necessary.

• Ensure the timely completion of project documentation, including engineering drawings, procedures, and reports, while coordinating necessary reviews and approvals.

• Assist with broader mechanical or thermal engineering projects as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in space, aerospace, or comparable advanced engineering projects.

• Proven experience in leading hardware development from concept through qualification and delivery.

• Familiarity with spacecraft thermal hardware components and systems.

• Experience in fast-paced or rapidly growing technical environments.
