This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Deliver exceptional psychotherapy services through 60-minute individual, couples, group, and/or family sessions, emphasizing clinical decision-making and measurable outcomes.
• Engage in supervision to reflect on client interactions, examine transference and countertransference, enhance your clinical decision-making abilities, and assess clinical outcomes by reviewing intake notes, treatment plans, assessments, and progress notes.
• Uphold quality and professionalism in every client engagement—your presentation on camera, communication style, and ability to foster trust are crucial to client success.
• Develop a personalized and flexible schedule (scheduled hours should be between 6:00am and 11:30pm based on your specific timezone).
• A minimum weekly availability of 20 hours is required to enable long-term caseload development.
• By the conclusion of your 20th week, you must maintain a minimum of 50 sessions per month and continue to grow your caseload thereafter.
• One evening or weekend availability is mandatory each week during your first year.
• Document thoroughly and efficiently—ensure treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments are completed promptly, submitting all session documentation within 48 hours.
• Actively engage with the Cerebral Institute for ongoing education by participating in monthly Amplified Learning Series sessions and live/self-paced courses that offer continuing education credits toward licensure.
• Collaborate with like-minded clinicians who share a common mission to positively impact the lives of others, fostering an environment conducive to favorable client outcomes.
• Participate in optional monthly company-wide Town Halls to remain connected and informed, or view the recording if unable to attend live.
• Become part of a professional community devoted to elevating the standard of care and nurturing the next generation of clinical leaders.
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
• Provisionally Licensed in Massachusetts under one of the following: ASW, LMSW, LGSW, CSW, ALC, LAC, APC, LPCA, APCC, or AMFT.
• An up-to-date CAQH profile and an active NPI number are essential.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience providing psychotherapy under supervision is preferred (the maximum requirement for our training program is at least 6 months of supervision still needed).
• Proficient in diagnosing mental health disorders in accordance with DSM-5 criteria.
• Committed to achieving a caseload of 50 sessions per month by the end of week 20.
• Comfortable collaborating with prescribers managing clients’ medications.
• Knowledgeable in crisis response, possessing strong evidence-based clinical skills and experience in implementing measurement-informed care.
• Demonstrates empathetic and intuitive listening along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of working independently in a telemedicine setting, effectively balancing autonomy and seeking assistance when needed.
• Committed to professionalism in every client interaction—showing up with trust, quality, therapeutic presence, and swiftly building rapport in a telehealth environment.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable, able to navigate various systems and tools autonomously with ease (including, but not limited to, Google Workspace, proprietary EMR, etc.).
• Access to a reliable computer (not a Chromebook) and high-speed internet is required.
• A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit or prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred.

• Supervision: Acquire hours toward independent licensure under expert supervision.

• Care Team Support: A dedicated team will manage inquiries from your referral platforms, connect clients to your expertise and availability, and assist with scheduling sessions.
