This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.
β’ Take full ownership of the Thai course: ensuring quality, consistency, scope, and a strategic roadmap.
β’ Develop an exceptional Thai curriculum that sets industry standards.
β’ Define curriculum design principles and establish content quality standards.
β’ Create and evaluate conversations, vocabulary lists, grammar notes, and cultural insights.
β’ Oversee audio production processes and workflows.
β’ Collaborate with product teams, engineering, and fellow language experts.
β’ May assume a leadership position within the language team.
β’ Native Thai speaker with a strong understanding of contemporary, natural usage.
β’ Proficient in English at a C2 level or near-native proficiency.
β’ Background in edtech, curriculum development, instructional design, or language education.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where adaptability and autonomy are key.
β’ Recognize that Ling operates as a tech product.
β’ Valuable assets include knowledge of or genuine interest in other Asian languages.
β’ Practical experience with tools such as Narakeet, Firebase, or Lokalise.
β’ Familiarity with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) standards.
β’ Experience teaching Thai to foreign learners or developing materials for adult education.
β’ Understanding of pedagogy related to tonal languages.
