Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Ensure software products meet quality and reliability standards through both manual and automated testing.

• Design, implement, and maintain efficient test plans, test cases, and automate repeatable scenarios utilizing the Cucumber test automation framework.

• Develop and execute test cases and scripts for web applications, performing functional, regression, and integration testing.

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and Agile teams to integrate quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Identify, document, and track defects to resolution in close collaboration with development teams.

• Keep clear and updated test documentation, report test results effectively, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the advancement of QA best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar QA role performing manual and automated testing using Cucumber or other test automation tools is essential for success.

• A degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of Java programming.

• Strong experience with web applications, including functional, regression, and integration testing.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Highly detail-oriented, well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks, and a collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership.

• Ability to problem-solve, think creatively, and a strong desire to learn and acquire new skills.

• Basic understanding of software development lifecycles, preferably Agile/Scrum.

• Experience in participating in code reviews and influencing QA standards.
