This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

• Analyze functionality and develop test cases that will serve as the foundation for initial manual tests, which will later be transformed into automated tests.
• Assist in analyzing requests for new features or modernization of existing ones and plan QA activities accordingly.
• Execute tests, primarily automated, though manual testing may be necessary for edge cases.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical and user documentation; collaborate with other teams to integrate their code into a unified solution.
• Identify and resolve the root causes of issues, managing the problem from its definition to successful resolution.
• Propel innovation by designing new features; pinpoint enhancements in existing architecture and code to continuously refactor and evolve the products.
• Operate in a dynamic and progressive development environment that is perpetually researching and implementing cutting-edge technologies.
• Research and implement open-source frameworks and architectures; work closely with fellow developers and end users to swiftly deliver critical features.
• Strong knowledge of Python, with practical experience in writing automated tests using Pytest and Playwright.
• Comprehension of QA methodologies, including test design techniques, writing clear test cases and bug reports, and defining test scope and priorities.
• Proficient in Linux and Windows (installation, configuration, command-line, basic troubleshooting).
• Familiarity with virtualization systems such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox.
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) and RESTful web services.
• Experience with Git and branching workflows (GitFlow).
• Nice to have: Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Compose / Swarm).
• Experience in debugging and tracing software (reading logs, isolating root causes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools (Jira, TestMo, or similar).
• Knowledge of storage, data protection, and backup concepts.
