Test Analyst, Channels - App

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Advocate for a culture of quality, fostering knowledge sharing, collaboration, and transparency within the team.

• Develop and assess quality documentation, including strategy, progressive/regression test plans, and evidence reports.

• Maintain a strategic outlook on software testing, encompassing test automation.

• Evaluate acceptance criteria and user stories.

• Document and report bugs and test cases.

• Design and implement both manual and automated test scenarios (for back-end and mobile applications).

• Communicate progress, risks, and issues related to project delivery.

• Engage actively in team ceremonies such as refinements and planning.

• Work closely with the development team to discover opportunities for process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Test Analyst.

• Extensive knowledge of testing processes, including manual, exploratory, load, regression, functional, and non-functional testing.

• Proficiency in developing test automation using Java (RestAssured) and Playwright.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as k6 and/or JMeter.

• Experience with test and defect management systems.

• Competence in relational databases and writing SQL queries.

• Experience with version control using Git.

• Agile mindset, familiar with Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies.

• Preferred experience with Maestro or Appium for mobile automation.

• Knowledge of cloud computing, particularly Azure.

• Background in the financial sector.

• Understanding of containerization technologies, specifically Docker.

• Experience with GitLab.

• Knowledge of BDD (behavior-driven development), creating scenarios based on anticipated user behavior.

• Relevant software testing certifications (e.g., CTFL, CTAL, or others).
