Test Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct functional, SIT, UAT, and regression testing within SimCorp Dimension.

• Validate the complete trade lifecycle, encompassing capture, processing, and settlement.

• Test system integrations, interfaces, and batch jobs.

• Log and monitor defects using JIRA and qTest, the CalPERS test management tool.

• Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and system issues.

• Support UAT and provide assistance to business users during testing phases.

• Develop and sustain test cases and related documentation.

• Assist in post-go-live validation and address issue resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with SimCorp Dimension (SCD).

• In-depth knowledge of capital markets, investment operations, and the comprehensive trade lifecycle, including trade capture, confirmation, processing, settlement, reconciliation, asset servicing, corporate actions, investment accounting, pricing & valuation, and Investment Book of Record (IBOR) processes.

• Experience with functional testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management within investment management platforms.

• Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension batch processes, Auxiliary Jobs (AuxJobs), system operations, interfaces, data migration validation, DEX, and DFS.

• Proficient in utilizing JIRA or similar defect tracking systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, especially in conducting root-cause analysis for complex data, configuration, and system issues.

• Effective skills in communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and training facilitation.

• Experience in supporting SimCorp modules and business areas, including Asset Manager, Order Manager, Trade Manager, Loan Facilities, System Manager, Front Office, Trade Operations, Asset Servicing, Data Management, and SWIFT workflows.

• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies, along with experience in business process mapping, change management, requirements gathering, and solution validation.

• Proficient in SQL and test management practices for planning, execution, reporting, and validation activities.

• Knowledge of major asset classes, including Fixed Income, Equities, Money Markets, FX, Exchange-Traded Derivatives, OTC Derivatives, Asset-Backed Securities, Mortgage-Backed Securities, Securities Lending, Private Equity, and Private Debt.
