This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Develops tailored commercial strategies to enhance brand visibility and execution in the market, including the appropriate distribution of MJUS brands by type and size, merchandising initiatives, shelf management, drink features, and promotions.
• Ensures exceptional retail execution is consistently achieved in key accounts.
• Cultivates the Jägermeister and Teremana brands in their market in alignment with channel and brand standards, ensuring best-in-class execution.
• Contributes innovative ideas and solutions for distributors and retailers within the territory.
• Possesses a strong understanding of pricing, profitability, and brand economics at the account level.
• Strategically increases sales volume in key designated market areas (DMA).
• Identifies influential accounts, opinion leaders, and key influencers within the channel and occasion strategies.
• Conducts training sessions and tastings for staff at accounts.
• Leverages local trends within the designated market to inspire future programming initiatives.
• Implements Jägermeister brand standards focused on delivering the perfect ice-cold shot in accounts.
• Executes defined drink strategies while demonstrating flexibility to adapt to account needs for menu and feature development.
• Utilizes analytical tools (iDig, Karma, etc.) to assess ROI and comprehend business dynamics (e.g., effectiveness of major events, consumer development activities, key account resource allocation, POS effectiveness, etc.).
• Monitors and tracks Point-Of-Sale performance.
• Sets a strong example and inspires the local distributor network to prioritize commercial brand and channel initiatives.
• Manages relationships with local distributors at the account level.
• Acts as the brand ambassador, promoting and educating consumers, accounts, and distributors about the history and production of the MJUS Brand Portfolio.
• 3 – 5 years of experience in Sales, preferably within the spirits and/or beverage industry, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience; a college degree is preferred.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Demonstrated success in developing account strategies and executing them to drive results.
• Willingness to learn and adopt the Jägermeister sales approach.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with outstanding time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Well-developed influencing and negotiation skills; tenacious and persuasive.
• Frequent travel within the territory is required; must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle for travel between accounts in the assigned territory.
• Must have proficient skills in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
