This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Act as the key customer representative while being accountable for sales growth among existing and potential practitioners.
• Build, nurture, and sustain professional relationships between Standard Process and healthcare practitioners.
• Regularly visit healthcare practitioner offices in person within a designated sales territory to meet budgeted sales targets and other defined objectives.
• Generate revenue in the assigned territory by cultivating loyal customer relationships and establishing new accounts.
• Employ CRM systems for effective pre-call planning and post-call documentation to manage the territory efficiently.
• Continue to refine strategies for promoting whole-food nutritional supplements within the healthcare practitioner market.
• Analyze and interpret market data to aid in the development of these strategies.
• Provide insights to sales operations and marketing teams to create training and educational materials for healthcare practitioners.
• Organize in-person dinners and lunch-and-learn sessions for healthcare practitioners.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders in the industry to maximize growth opportunities.
• Leverage established relationships to expand the healthcare practitioner network.
• Collaborate with Scientific Liaisons and other internal resources to ensure prompt responses to customer inquiries.
• Attend all new hire orientations, ongoing training sessions, and headquarters meetings as necessary.
• Travel to regional or national trade shows and conferences to represent Standard Process at the exhibitor booth.
• A bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, marketing, or a related business discipline is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• More than 1 year of outside sales experience is required.
• Experience in sales, ideally within the practitioner channel, representing natural or complementary/alternative products (health and wellness, supplements, pharmaceuticals).
• A solid understanding of basic nutrition principles.
• Experience in analyzing sales and demographic data.
• Proven success in product sales and territory expansion.
• Familiarity with reporting and presenting sales data and activities.
• Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
• Comprehensive knowledge of sales and marketing principles, along with innovative sales tactics and best practices.
• Understanding of the applications of SP Formulas.
• Knowledge of the natural products marketplace.
• Ability to engage with healthcare practitioners at a sophisticated level.
• Strong analytical skills to leverage sales data analysis in developing strategies, tactics, and practices that will enhance the healthcare practitioner marketplace.
• Capability to quickly assimilate new or unfamiliar concepts.
• Persistence and follow-through skills to drive sales to a successful conclusion.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects or tasks at once.
• Proficient in financial analysis.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, polished and adaptable.
