This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of sales performance in your assigned territory, focusing on new business acquisition, customer retention, and profitability.
• Create and implement sales strategies for your territory that align with the company's objectives.
• Compete for shelf space within agencies in a multi-carrier market.
• Hold yourself and agency partners accountable for fulfilling commitments.
• Manage the distribution within your territory by appointing new agencies and discontinuing relationships with non-partnered ones.
• Collaborate with underwriting and internal teams to achieve targeted results.
• Conduct regular field sales visits throughout your territory.
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and manage expenses effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent professional experience.
• At least five years of experience in field-based insurance sales.
• Demonstrated success in meeting and surpassing sales objectives in competitive settings.
• Experience working with independent agencies that represent multiple carriers.
• A self-driven, competitive, and responsible sales professional.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
• A valid California driver’s license and residency within the territory are mandatory.
