This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all company policies and guidelines, specifically those related to interactions with Healthcare Professionals, compliance, and business conduct.
• Ensure adherence to all company, industry, and governmental laws and regulations, particularly those concerning ethical business practices.
• Responsible for overall territory revenue generation and customer service.
• Meet both short-term and long-term sales goals by identifying customer needs and offering solutions that foster a professional relationship between the customer and SpringWorks Therapeutics, a healthcare company of Merck KGaA Darmstadt Germany, in both live and virtual environments, as well as within the community and academic contexts.
• Establish relationships with key healthcare professionals, physician practices, hospitals and clinics, and practice managers across various treatment and academic environments, including major cancer centers.
• Become a territory expert with comprehensive knowledge of the market, customers, products, and competitors. Adapt strategically to the evolving healthcare landscape to achieve success in a dynamic environment.
• Complete ongoing training and development focused on product knowledge, selling techniques, goal setting, planning, analysis, use of marketing tools, clinical information, and sales competencies.
• Proactively identify and implement strategies to prioritize patients and customers, demonstrating behaviors that enhance the delivery of medications to patients swiftly and improve their quality of life.
• Exhibit strong analytical and planning skills by reviewing data, understanding trends, preparing and communicating relevant plans, and embracing digital platforms and omnichannel strategies.
• Actively engage in field coaching sessions, receiving guidance, positive feedback, and corrective actions as necessary, with an emphasis on executing account plans and developing competencies to meet revenue targets.
• Collaborate effectively and maintain ongoing communication and tactical coordination with field and headquarters colleagues.
• Support local and area Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry is required.
• At least 5 years of proven sales experience in Rare Diseases within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, demonstrating successful results.
• Experience in neurology, including both pediatric and adult populations.
• Background in oncology is required.
• Proven experience in selling within a competitive market.
• Experience in Rare Disease sales is essential.
• Familiarity with virtual selling and a track record of utilizing technology effectively.
• A deep understanding of the Neurology and Oncology landscape and market dynamics is highly desirable.
• Strong expertise in reimbursement and managed care processes.
• High integrity and exceptional work ethic; cultivate mutual trust and respect.
• Excellent organizational skills are required.
