This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Formulate and implement strategies to enhance raw material and work-in-process inventory while meeting operational and customer service needs.
• Oversee inventory segmentation, safety stock management, and the establishment of inventory policies.
• Elevate inventory productivity through data analytics, process enhancements, and automation.
• Propel continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing working capital, enhancing inventory turnover, and mitigating inventory risks.
• Track inventory health metrics and devise corrective action plans.
• Minimize excess, obsolete, and at-risk inventory.
• Guide, mentor, and develop inventory planners, analysts, and optimization professionals.
• Set team priorities, performance goals, and development plans.
• Collaborate with Supply Planning and Operational Scheduling to harmonize inventory strategies with manufacturing objectives.
• Assist in the development, submission, and integrity of operational forecasts.
• Work together with Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Site Leadership to address inventory challenges.
• Leverage data analytics to pinpoint optimization opportunities and create business cases.
• Conduct inventory reviews and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
• Create reports, dashboards, and KPIs to assess inventory performance.
• Communicate inventory strategies, risks, performance updates, and recommendations to Director-level and senior leadership.
• Facilitate governance forums and inventory review meetings.
• Highlight critical inventory, supply, and operational risks along with mitigation strategies.
• Assist in the formulation of the annual operating plan and inventory planning activities.
• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience and 5+ years of leadership experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience and 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience in comprehensive inventory optimization from Raw Material to Finished Goods is preferred.
• Familiarity with Blue Yonder is advantageous.
• For degrees obtained outside of the United States, a degree that meets the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is essential.
