This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Collaborate with a Clinical Diabetes Specialist to introduce Sequel’s cutting-edge insulin pump and upcoming products.
• Drive the adoption of Sequel offerings and services within the designated territory.
• Develop territory strategies and initiatives aimed at meeting or surpassing territory objectives.
• Cultivate customer relationships and persuade healthcare providers to prescribe Sequel products.
• Ensure successful product experiences for both healthcare providers and users.
• Discuss and showcase Sequel products along with diabetes therapeutic alternatives.
• Work together with customer care and sales support to enhance the user experience.
• Relay healthcare provider feedback across departments to address issues and enhance product development.
• Represent Sequel products at conventions and educational events.
• Manage leads and opportunities in the customer relations database on a daily basis.
• Submit required product training documentation.
• Maintain connections with patient advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations.
• Assist in training field sales personnel.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Play an active role on internal advisory boards.
• Lead team, regional, and area calls or meetings when necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 4 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry, showcasing a proven track record of sales success.
• Prior experience in diabetes and the sale of automated insulin devices is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Strong strategic problem-solving abilities.
• Established relationships with endocrinologists are highly preferred.
• Experience in promoting diabetes devices and knowledge of diabetes therapeutics is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while fostering team collaboration.
• Strong skills in data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving.
• Proven ability to implement sales and marketing strategies and manage a territory budget.
• Must reside within the assigned geographical area.
• Willingness to commute and spend extended periods driving each day, with potential overnight travel.
• Capacity to carry and transport professional samples and literature.
• Proven history of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Recognized for exceptional sales achievements, such as President’s Club, Rookie of the Year, or Circle of Excellence.
• Experience in developmental and leadership roles, such as field sales trainer, mentor, or participation in field advisory boards/marketing input committees.
• Experience representing an organization at industry conferences or conventions.
• Demonstrated career advancement or promotions into positions with greater responsibility.
