This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a technical expert for the DMC custom application portfolio on designated tasks, which includes around 10 applications, 150 user interface screens, and more than 170,000 lines of C# code.
• Architect, develop, enhance, and maintain applications utilizing ASP.NET Core, C#, the legacy .NET Framework v4.8, JavaScript, CSS, and Kendo UI.
• Design, construct, and oversee scalable and secure cloud infrastructures within Microsoft Azure, encompassing Databricks and Synapse, API Management, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Monitor.
• Spearhead the migration from SSRS to Power BI leveraging the existing Power BI infrastructure.
• Direct the modernization efforts from WebForms to ASP.NET Core within the VAEC framework.
• Design and manage complex relational SQL Server databases; create and adjust database objects using advanced T-SQL techniques.
• Maintain data dictionaries, metadata documentation, and ensure traceability from reports to data sources.
• Guarantee secure coding practices and assist in ATO vulnerability remediation efforts.
• Provide technical guidance and code evaluation for junior developers on assigned tasks.
• Ensure all products comply with Section 508, ADA, and WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA standards.
• Manage ATO artifacts, including updates to the SSP, control narratives, POA&M tracking, and evidence of scans.
• Quickly adapt to and transition off specific Government-directed tasks with minimal onboarding time.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. No alternatives or substitutions for the degree requirement will be entertained.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in software development.
• Extensive experience with Azure Cloud Solutions, particularly in Databricks and Synapse, API Management, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Monitor.
• Proven hands-on proficiency with ASP.NET Core, C#, T-SQL, Power BI, and Kendo UI.
• Validated experience in leading software development initiatives and providing technical oversight (essential).
• Capability to support a task-oriented engagement model with variable utilization.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must have continuously resided in the United States for the last 36 months.
