Software Engineer II – Acquisition and Funnel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within a unified design system, conduct A/B testing, and leverage analytics to gain insights into user navigation through the funnel.

• Performance and stability are crucial as this serves as the gateway to the business; any friction in the funnel significantly affects outcomes.

• Utilize your software development expertise to produce clean, well-tested, and thoroughly documented code.

• Conduct peer code reviews and provide mentorship to fellow engineers on the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience with backend programming languages such as Java, C#, or ideally JavaScript/TypeScript.

• At least 4 years of experience with relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, or ideally PostgreSQL), including data modeling and fundamental query optimization.

• Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and service-oriented systems, focusing on scalability and performance.

• Experience in writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks and concepts such as mocking, stubbing, and contract testing to enhance reliability and minimize tight coupling.

• Practical experience with integrating third-party vendors or external systems, ensuring clean interfaces and dependable behavior.

• A growth-oriented mindset—curious, eager to learn, and open to exploring new ideas.

• A proactive, hands-on approach—ready to take initiative rather than waiting for complete clarity.
