This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and assist in the daily management of social media content, including content calendars, reactive posts, and extensive social campaigns.
• Convert strategic and creative concepts into detailed, actionable plans complete with timelines, responsible parties, and budgets.
• Supervise production timelines for social media content, ensuring flexibility while upholding creative integrity and brand guidelines.
• Support rapid production projects while also managing long-term strategic initiatives.
• Utilize your real-time awareness to oversee schedules and scope without hindering creative progress.
• Engage actively in client meetings, internal creative reviews, and production check-ins with clarity and confidence.
• Collaborate closely with Account Leadership to manage scope, staffing, budgets, estimates, timelines, and the overall financial health of the engagement.
• Develop and maintain precise project forecasts, scopes, timelines, and resource plans.
• Track team utilization, timelines, and resources across overlapping deliverables.
• Take ownership or assist in creating scopes, estimates, and contracts for projects.
• Keep detailed budget records and contribute to client status reports.
• Provide accurate and timely records of hours worked and project efforts.
• Participate in a weekly client status meeting (5:30-6:30pm PT), along with additional ad hoc meetings, working sessions, and written communication via the client’s preferred collaboration platforms.
• Navigate cross-cultural working relationships and manage workflows that involve global stakeholders across various time zones, particularly collaborating with teams in China.
• Build robust relationships within cross-functional teams (creative, strategy, production, social media) and serve as the link between them.
• Maintain clear communication with the client team by offering frequent updates, owning deliverables, identifying risks, and setting realistic expectations.
• Anticipate obstacles and highlight risks early, proactively developing actionable solutions to prevent any impact on delivery.
• Cultivate a positive and collaborative atmosphere where both creative excellence and operational efficiency can flourish.
• 3–5+ years of project management experience within a creative agency, digital content, or marketing setting.
• Proven experience managing creative and content workflows for social-first campaigns.
• Familiarity with social platform-native work (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, Twitter/X, etc.) and an understanding of the unique timelines, trends, and demands of internet culture.
• Client service experience, demonstrating a balance of diplomacy and clarity in managing priorities, feedback, and expectations.
• Experience in managing global stakeholders across various time zones and navigating cross-cultural working relationships is highly desirable.
• Proficient in project management and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Keynote/Slides, etc.
• Technically curious, with a keen interest in emerging tools like AI, and eager to implement new solutions into workflows and processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing relationships both virtually and in-person.
• Able to effectively manage both detailed tasks and overarching project oversight.
