Temporary Intern – Agentic AI, Neural-Symbolic Systems (Healthcare)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and conduct evaluations for LLM-driven agents (quality, reliability, safety)

• Assess agent behaviors and pinpoint potential failure modes

• Suggest enhancements based on empirical findings

• Develop and refine components such as tools, skills, memory systems, and MCP integrations

• Enhance orchestration, observability, and the developer experience

• Investigate methods that integrate LLMs with rules, knowledge graphs, or symbolic reasoning

• Work on applications that necessitate auditability and explainability (e.g., claims, policy logic)

• Assist in bridging probabilistic AI with deterministic systems

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders or pilot users

• Quickly prototype and iterate on solutions in real-world scenarios

• Contribute to defining patterns for the widespread adoption of agentic systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program (Freshman–Senior) in a relevant field

• Practical experience with Python or similar programming languages

• Understanding of LLMs / GenAI (e.g., working on projects with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or open-source models)

• A strong sense of curiosity and a readiness to rapidly learn in uncertain environments

• Capability to deconstruct problems and iterate through experimentation
