This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver professional nursing services via telephone employing motivational interviewing techniques for client-funded pharmaceutical contracts.
• Assist patients through both inbound and outbound calls as part of nursing support programs.
• Carry out risk assessments, provide home injection training, educate on disease states, and offer product information.
• Adhere to the established call cadence and make additional calls as instructed.
• Address inquiries from patients, consumers, and healthcare professionals while providing client-approved resources.
• Direct callers to appropriate training, support groups, approved program materials, literature, or healthcare providers as necessary.
• Gather and input accurate, timely, clear, and comprehensive call and task data.
• Engage in program-specific customer meetings, training sessions, and orientation meetings.
• Display clinical competency through electronic or written assessments.
• Undertake special projects and other responsibilities related to contract performance.
• Operate under moderate supervision.
• At least an Associate’s Degree in Nursing or an equivalent diploma.
• A valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing for the state in which you work and/or cross-licensed in other states.
• Must possess or be willing to acquire a compact nursing license.
• Openness to obtaining additional state licenses upon request.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Fundamental database management and office navigation skills.
• Capability to maintain customer interaction and service skills via phone.
• Proficiency in multitasking between PC and phone-related tasks while following approved scripts.
• Ability to interpret patient information and determine suitable next steps.
• Experience in telephonic nursing, preferably supporting a pharmaceutical product.
• Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques.
