Telemedicine Family Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create tailored treatment strategies through video consultations.

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary care team to provide the highest quality of care.

• Complete necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive health and wellness using evidence-based approaches.

• Keep precise and current patient documentation and ensure timely charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative communications with clarity and compassion.

• Commit to a minimum of 20 patient-facing hours each week, which includes consultations and medical advice, with prescribing as clinically appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification: Valid national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

• Experience: At least 2 years of continuous experience as a Nurse Practitioner focused on women's health and managing chronic conditions.

• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.

• Webside Manner: An innate ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to providing care based on the latest clinical research.

• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.

• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.

• State License Requirements and Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
