This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate intake assessments, encompassing medical history, dietary practices, laboratory findings, and more.
• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video platforms.
• Provide general guidance on movement, sleep, or stress management as it pertains to nutritional care.
• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and educational resources while customizing care to meet patient requirements.
• Implement motivational interviewing and behavior change methodologies throughout the ongoing care process.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.
• Ensure accurate and current patient record maintenance.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly, in addition to administrative responsibilities.
• Complete documentation, address patient queries, and respond to administrative duties and messages promptly.
• Registered Dietitian with a valid certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• A minimum of one year of experience in treating patients with complex women's health issues is highly preferred.
• Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state.
• Capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic reasoning and critical thinking abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating compassion and clarity.
• Proficiency in building trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in current clinical research.
• Comfortable navigating EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.
• Prior experience in telemedicine is advantageous.
• Availability for a minimum of 80% of contracted weekly hours during designated evening, Friday, and/or weekend time slots.
• Hours must be scheduled in the time zone of active state license(s).
• The flexibility and autonomy offered by an independent contractor arrangement.
• Compensation per visit along with additional remuneration for charting, administrative duties, and other patient-related tasks.
