This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate intake assessments, which include medical history, dietary patterns, laboratory findings, and additional factors.
• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.
• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it pertains to nutritional care.
• Utilize Allara’s nutritional training and educational resources while customizing care to meet patient needs.
• Implement motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the continuity of care.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.
• Ensure accurate and current patient records are maintained.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly, in addition to administrative responsibilities.
• Complete documentation, address patient queries, and respond to administrative tasks and messages promptly.
• Registered Dietitian with valid certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• A minimum of one year of experience in treating patients with complex women’s health issues is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider.
• Strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on empathy and clarity.
• Capacity to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in the latest clinical research.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.
• Prior experience in telehealth is advantageous.
• Must hold an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state.
• Ability to schedule a minimum of 80% of contracted weekly hours during designated evenings, Fridays, and/or weekends.
• Work hours should align with the time zone of the active state license(s).
• Applicants are required to clarify their U.S. work authorization and visa sponsorship status.
