This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate intake assessments, which encompass medical history, dietary patterns, laboratory outcomes, and additional relevant information.
• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.
• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it relates to nutritional care as needed.
• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and educational resources while tailoring care to meet patient needs.
• Apply motivational interviewing and behavior-change strategies consistently throughout the continuity of care.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.
• Keep accurate and current patient records.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 hours of patient-facing interactions each week, alongside administrative responsibilities.
• Complete documentation, respond to patient queries, and address administrative tasks and messages promptly.
• Must be a Registered Dietitian with an active certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• A minimum of one year of experience in treating patients with complex women's health conditions is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider.
• Strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, displaying both compassion and clarity.
• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Commitment to evidence-based practices grounded in the latest clinical research.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.
• Prior experience in telehealth is advantageous.
• Must possess an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state.
• Availability for at least 80% of weekly contracted hours during designated evenings, Fridays, and/or weekends.
• Capability to work according to the time zone of the state license(s) held.
• Minimum requirement of 10 patient-facing hours each week plus administrative time.
• Flexibility and autonomy under a 1099 contract.
• Compensation per visit, in addition to extra pay for charting, administrative duties, and other patient-related activities.
