This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Evaluate intake assessments, which include medical history, dietary practices, laboratory findings, and more.
• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling as well as educational sessions through video conferencing.
• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as they pertain to nutritional care.
• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and educational resources while tailoring care to meet individual patient needs.
• Employ motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the continuity of care.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.
• Keep accurate and current patient records.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week alongside administrative duties.
• Complete documentation, respond to patient inquiries, and manage administrative tasks and communications promptly.
• Registered Dietitian with a valid certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• A minimum of one year of experience in treating patients with complex women's health issues is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider.
• Strong diagnostic judgment along with effective critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, focusing on compassion and clarity.
• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in the latest clinical research.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
• Previous telehealth experience is an advantage.
• An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
• Provide a CDR registration number.
• Submit two professional references: a current or former supervisor and a coworker from within the last five years.
• Address any non-compete or contractual obligations that might restrict practice with Allara.
• Disclose if visa sponsorship is necessary to continue working in the United States.
