This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Evaluate intake assessments, encompassing medical history, dietary practices, and lab findings.
• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video conferencing.
• Provide general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it pertains to nutritional care.
• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and educational resources while tailoring care to meet patient needs.
• Implement motivational interviewing and behavioral change techniques throughout the continuum of care.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.
• Keep precise and current patient records.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly, in addition to administrative responsibilities.
• Document and respond to patient inquiries.
• Address administrative tasks and messages promptly.
• Registered Dietitian with a current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• A minimum of 1 year of experience treating patients with complex women's health issues is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated capacity to operate as an independent provider.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and critical thinking abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, highlighting compassion and clarity.
• Ability to foster trust and connection with patients in a virtual environment.
• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in the latest clinical research.
• Proficient in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.
• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.
• An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
• Must provide a CDR registration number.
• Must present two professional references: one from a past or current supervisor and one from a coworker within the last 5 years.
• The flexibility and independence of an independent contractor arrangement.
• Per-visit compensation along with additional pay for charting, administrative duties, and other patient-related activities.
