This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Evaluate intake assessments, including medical history, dietary patterns, lab results, and more.
• Facilitate diet and lifestyle counseling and educational sessions through video platforms.
• Provide guidance on general movement, sleep, or stress management as it pertains to nutrition care.
• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and educational resources while tailoring care to meet patient needs.
• Apply motivational interviewing and behavior-change strategies throughout the continuity of care.
• Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of patients.
• Keep precise and current patient records.
• Ensure a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly along with administrative responsibilities.
• Complete chart documentation and respond to patient inquiries.
• Attend to administrative duties and communications promptly.
• Valid Registered Dietitian certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• A minimum of one year experience in treating patients with complex women’s health issues is highly preferred.
• Capability to operate as an independent provider.
• Strong diagnostic acumen and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, focusing on compassion and clarity.
• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in the latest clinical research.
• Proficiency in working with EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling platforms.
• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.
• Valid, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state.
• Willingness to allocate at least 80% of contracted weekly hours to evening, Friday, and/or weekend time slots.
• Scheduling hours will align with the time zone of active state license(s).
• Flexibility of a 1099 contract, allowing for the autonomy of an independent contractor.
• Compensation per visit, along with extra pay for charting, administrative tasks, and other patient-related activities.
