This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Evaluate intake assessments, which include medical history, dietary practices, laboratory findings, and more.
• Provide counseling and educational sessions on diet and lifestyle through video, incorporating general advice on movement, sleep, or stress management as it pertains to nutrition care.
• Utilize Allara’s nutrition training and educational resources to ensure consistent patient care while tailoring approaches to individual needs.
• Apply motivational interviewing and behavior change strategies throughout the continuity of patient care.
• Work collaboratively with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of your patients.
• Keep accurate and current patient records.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours each week, in addition to time spent on administrative tasks.
• Responsibilities also encompass charting, responding to patient inquiries, and addressing administrative tasks and messages promptly.
• Certification: Registered Dietitian with an active certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience treating patients with complex women’s health conditions is highly desired.
• Clinical Independence: Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously as a provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.
• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on compassion and clarity.
• Webside Manner: An innate ability to foster trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.
• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere commitment to providing care grounded in contemporary clinical research.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating multiple platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.
• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Dietitian in at least one U.S. state is mandatory.
