Telehealth Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Oregon Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Perform patient intake and follow-up consultations to assess eligibility for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), prescribe treatments, and monitor patient outcomes through telemedicine.

• Recommend modifications to treatment plans based on patient feedback and treatment results.

• Collaborate with psychotherapists at Journey Clinical for integrated care.

• Coordinate with the Journey Clinical care coordinator to enhance your workflow efficiency.

• Provide timely and constructive feedback on the Journey Clinical care management system to help improve our services.

• Report to the Lead Clinician and work closely with the leadership team and co-founders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice in Oregon.

• Preferred: At least 1 year of psychiatric experience as a PMHNP.

• Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric-related experience along with post-board certification.

• Hold a valid DEA registration.

• Should be comfortable prescribing controlled substances when medically justified.

• Capable of prescribing for anxiety and depression effectively.

• Ability to quickly integrate medical and psychiatric information about patients to develop effective, evidence-based clinical recommendations.

• Possess a patient-first mentality, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

• Willingness to utilize various user-friendly tools to enhance your workflow (e.g., Slack, G Suite, Zoom, etc.).

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced remote Telehealth startup environment.

• Genuine interest in the field of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and its potential to revolutionize mental health.
