
Telehealth Physician Assistant – Eating Disorders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee a substantial patient case-load effectively.
• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses for eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric disorders (psychiatric consultation available).
• Execute medication treatment strategies for eating disorders and related conditions in a telehealth environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, dietitians, therapists, patient mentors, family mentors, and external providers.
• Utilize between-session messaging to assist patients and liaise with the treatment team through Equip EMR, adhering to Equip’s guidelines.
• Actively participate in treatment team meetings, supervision, and departmental discussions.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as needed.
• Must be Board Certified as a Physician Assistant.
• Capability to maintain active Physician Assistant licenses and pursue cross-licensing where relevant (license costs will be covered by Equip).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients within an outpatient context, with a preference for Primary Care experience.
• Display a commitment to providing exceptional evidence-based care, improving clinical skills, and a dedication to professional growth.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their caregivers, ensuring timely responses to messages.
• Exhibit curiosity, a love for learning, and actively engage in a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.
