This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.
• Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure the delivery of exceptional care standards.
• Complete necessary training sessions and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.
• Instruct patients on preventive care and wellness utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Keep precise and current patient records, ensuring timely completion of charting.
• Address patient inquiries and administrative messages with clarity and attentiveness.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours weekly, which includes consultations and medical guidance, with the option of prescribing when clinically appropriate.
• Educational Background: MD or DO degree from a recognized institution.
• Board Certification: Must hold an active ABIM board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Endocrinology Fellowship Training & Board Eligibility:
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology fellowship.
• Eligibility for board certification in Endocrinology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
• A commitment to achieve ABIM board certification in Endocrinology within one year of employment.
• Experience: All board-eligible Endocrinologists are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in women's health is advantageous!
• Clinical Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic acumen and critical thinking capabilities.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing compassion and clarity.
• Webside Manner: An innate ability to foster trust and connection with patients in a virtual environment.
• Evidence-Based Practice: A sincere dedication to providing care grounded in the latest clinical research.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using various platforms, including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.
• Telemedicine Experience: Previous telehealth experience is preferred.
• State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: Must possess an active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state.
