This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver concise, solution-oriented counseling services via telephone and/or video.
• Perform a thorough assessment of clients’ presenting concerns.
• Develop a treatment plan designed to address identified issues.
• Provide referrals to long-term treatment and/or community resources when clinically suitable.
• Maintain a full-time schedule of appointments each day.
• Employ brief, solution-focused techniques to address clients’ issues.
• Ensure the safety of clients who may pose a risk to themselves or others.
• Guarantee that all clients are appropriately referred to long-term treatment, if clinically necessary, using their benefit plans and/or community resources.
• Keep up-to-date documentation for all client interactions in the ComPsych system according to established protocols and procedures.
• Continuously enhance professional knowledge by reviewing trends in telehealth counseling, effective treatment methods, and evidence-based practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• At least 3 years of clinical counseling experience is required.
• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology is necessary.
• An independent clinical license is essential.
• Experience in providing direct clinical services and solution-focused therapy is required.
• Familiarity with treatment issues and EAP services is necessary.
• Outstanding communication abilities, with a strong emphasis on customer service and sound clinical judgment.
• Quick-thinking, high-energy, positive, and professional demeanor, exhibiting multi-tasking and critical thinking capabilities.
• Must possess high-speed internet and a workspace that is free from distractions, disruptions, or noise.
• Ability to appear on camera during work-related training sessions, meetings, and/or events.
• Must be able to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods while using a computer.
