This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Organize and oversee virtual veterinary consultations involving foster families, adopters, and our network of veterinary partners.
• Act as the primary contact for foster and adoptive families regarding any animal health or welfare issues.
• Perform regular scheduled check-in calls and video appointments to assess the wellbeing of animals.
• Keep precise and current health records for all animals in our care.
• Collaborate with veterinary partners to guarantee appointment availability and maintain high standards of care.
• Assist our rehabilitation specialists with wellness check-ins for animals enrolled in our rehabilitation program.
• Generate weekly reports on appointment activities and unresolved welfare concerns for the Director of Veterinary and Care Operations.
• At least 2 years of experience in veterinary care, healthcare coordination, or telehealth scheduling.
• Outstanding organizational capabilities along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
• Proficient in using digital scheduling tools and video conferencing applications.
• A sincere passion for animal welfare.
