This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Provide support for voice, data, and video telecommunications systems.
• Install and maintain cabling for fiber optic, copper, and wireless networks.
• Configure and assist with routers, switches, and other network equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
• Monitor and uphold network performance to ensure minimal downtime.
• Offer technical support for VoIP, PBX, and Unified Communications systems.
• Oversee telecommunications projects, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations and implement necessary security protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a public trust, requiring U.S. Citizenship.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VoIP, and network infrastructure.
• Experience with fiber optics, cabling, and telecommunications hardware.
• Understanding of network monitoring tools and telecommunications security.
• Preferred certifications include CompTIA Network+, CTNS, and BICSI.
