Técnico/a de Sistemas Senior – Oracle, SQL Server, Postgre

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Define and implement security policies applicable to database and backup platforms.

• Design and coordinate the implementation of hardening measures for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other database technologies.

• Establish and execute cyber resilience controls for backup and recovery platforms.

• Ensure data protection against threats such as ransomware, unauthorized access, and information loss.

• Create secure recovery strategies and service continuity plans for databases and backup systems.

• Oversee the deployment of encryption mechanisms, credential management, access control, and segregation of duties.

• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team in vulnerability management, remediation, and improvement plans.

• Coordinate technical audits and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.

• Define technical standards and security procedures for data platforms.

• Engage in technological modernization projects, ensuring the inclusion of security requirements from the design phase (Security by Design).

• Analyze technical risks and propose mitigation plans.

• Develop technical documentation, operational procedures, and evidence for internal and external audits.

• Promote the continuous improvement of the security posture and resilience of the platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent qualification.

• Over 5 years of experience in database administration and security.

• Experience in implementing cybersecurity measures on critical infrastructures.

• Experience with enterprise backup platforms and disaster recovery.

• Experience participating in security audits and regulatory compliance.

• Experience in projects aimed at enhancing resilience and business continuity.

• Intermediate English (B2).
