This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct assessments of third-party information security by utilizing established IT risk assessment frameworks and assessment programs.
• Offer practical solutions to address identified control weaknesses.
• Present assessment results to a diverse audience across different functions.
• Collaborate with business units and external partners to resolve control deficiencies.
• Articulate common information security trends and control deficiencies identified throughout the entire third-party inventory and lifecycle.
• Facilitate coordination among various functions such as security, sourcing, legal, and compliance.
• Set up an operational rhythm with Business Units to report key metrics, including the status of assessments and issue management.
• Remain updated on and apply industry standards and best practices to enhance the overall security posture of third parties.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other "STEM" majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
• Excellent oral communication, business writing, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Globally recognized information security/IT Audit certifications such as CISSP, CISA, GSNA, GSAE, or CCNA.
• Experience conducting IT Audits or Security Assessments of third-party suppliers in regulated sectors (e.g., Financial Services, Critical Infrastructure).
• In-depth knowledge of widely accepted Information Security and IT governance standards (e.g., COBIT, ISO, NIST).
• Familiarity or experience with industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, DFARS, Export Control, PCI).
• Proven ability to operate effectively across multiple locations and stakeholder groups.
• Capability to work collaboratively across functions.
• Skill in influencing others effectively within a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical and technical abilities.
• Experience managing projects within a complex organizational and IT environment.
