Senior Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise information security solutions.

• Act as a Tier-3 escalation point for monitoring and addressing security incidents.

• Establish controls and processes to fulfill internal and customer audit requirements.

• Create security standards, policies, and procedures for both internal and customer use.

• Carry out incident response activities in line with the Ensono Incident Response Plan.

• Assess, test, and roll out upgrades and patches for security applications.

• Provide consultative expertise on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and risk reduction strategies.

• Document project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

• Mentor both new and existing members of the security team.

• Offer recommendations and assist in the creation of security product roadmaps.

• Collaborate with product owners to ensure the alignment of solutions with security product offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of full-time experience in information security roles.

• Experience in security deployment using Azure Cloud.

• Background in Security-as-a-Service (SaaS) implementations.

• Strong understanding of digital forensics or penetration testing methodologies.

• Experience with file integrity monitoring solutions.

• Proficiency in vulnerability scanning tools and risk evaluation methods.

• Experience with password vaulting technologies for secure credential storage.

• Practical experience in implementing and maintaining security frameworks such as PCI-DSS, SSAE SOC1/SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, IRS Pub 1075, NIST, and ISO 27001.

• Experience in conducting security incident responses in large enterprise settings.

• Expertise in deploying and maintaining anti-malware technologies.

• Familiarity with security auditing and forensic analysis tools.

• Experience in implementing SIEM platforms.
