Technology Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead sourcing thought leadership initiatives across various internal and external clients within the Studio and Enterprise software sectors, delivering data-driven insights and recommendations for software agreements.

• Establish yourself as a reliable partner across teams, ensuring effective communication to secure optimal terms for Netflix.

• Oversee project management for intricate software deal initiatives, including directing procurement strategies, engaging with pertinent stakeholders, and ensuring timely negotiation completions.

• Implement the vision for the future of technology sourcing and actively contribute to product and service roadmaps to achieve those objectives.

• Build strong, collaborative relationships with fellow sourcing team members to collectively enhance the team's scope and influence.

• Cultivate well-aligned cross-functional partnerships with our support teams in Infosec, Finance, and Legal.

• Acquire and sustain product knowledge relevant to both Studio and Corporate stakeholders.

• Request product and service proposals and negotiate deals on behalf of our clients.

• Ensure the accuracy of contracting data, vendor records, and transaction details.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a technology sourcing and procurement role (ideally in a multinational environment).

• Comfortable navigating self-directed and ambiguous work environments.

• Strong vendor management abilities.

• Exceptional negotiation skills with the capability to challenge established norms.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience in the Media and Entertainment sector is preferred.
