Technology Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Technology Operations Manager is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for operational technology services, focusing on the development of long-term platform strategies while ensuring the effective execution of daily operations.

• Support an ecosystem of technology that encompasses AWS-based platforms, distributed data center environments, enterprise applications, and SaaS operational systems.

• Supervise the stability and performance of both cloud and on-premises environments, leading processes for application support and operational response.

• Direct service delivery and technical operations teams to enable scalable infrastructure for engineering projects.

• Manage enterprise network and database services, collaborating closely with stakeholders across both technology and business functions to support organizational goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading and supporting globally distributed hybrid cloud infrastructure, including initiatives for cloud transformation and modernization of legacy systems and applications.

• At least 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar operational roles, with extensive expertise in incident investigation, observability practices, service reliability, and root cause analysis.

• Expert knowledge and prior hands-on experience with data center, virtualization, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), infrastructure, back office, and application engineering technologies.

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and technical skills necessary to lead daily team activities and cultivate strong relationships with the extended organization.

• Capability to manage multiple projects to successful completion.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
