Technology Manager – Finance

📋 Description

• Manage the finance data platform, which is hosted on the Exadata Cloud at Customer (ExaCC), ensuring its optimal performance, scalability, and alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives.

• Oversee the OFSAA platform hosted on a private cloud in a customer model, maintaining communication with Oracle and keeping abreast of updates.

• Supervise the operation and development of the finance data platform, ensuring seamless data integration across OFSAA modules such as FTP, ALM, PFT, and LLFP.

• Take ownership of all future upgrade initiatives related to the OFSAA platform.

• Provide a comprehensive understanding of the bank’s financial systems, ensuring that the platform supports critical finance and profitability reporting for the Group CEO, CFO, and other key stakeholders. Additionally, build and implement OFSAA rules to meet business needs.

• Design and refine OFSAA data models utilizing the ERWin data modeling tool, and create download specifications for the OFSAA platform to ensure scalability and alignment with evolving business requirements.

• Ensure the platform delivers high-quality data for financial reporting and regulatory compliance, thereby supporting critical decision-making throughout the organization.

• Manage and enhance the data feed to the Oracle TRCS, guaranteeing accurate and timely reporting of corporate income tax data.

• Support relationship and performance management by supplying accurate profitability data to Corporate and Retail Banking teams.

• Lead the design and curation of data models from the bank’s Data Lake (hosted on Cloudera Hadoop) to ensure seamless data integration and processing.

• Implement and uphold a robust data quality framework for the finance platform, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Regulatory, and other business units to ensure platform enhancements align with organizational goals.

• The position holder will engage with Group and Country Finance senior leadership to collaborate and establish stable financial management systems for the bank.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Finance, or a related field (a master’s degree is preferred).

• 10-12 years of experience in managing financial data platforms, with specific expertise in OFSAA modules (FTP, ALM, PFT, LLFP) and cloud-based environments.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with senior Finance leadership to deliver robust reporting models.

• Strong understanding of banking financials, profitability reporting, and regulatory requirements.

• Expertise in data modeling, solution architecture, and data curation in large-scale environments, along with a deep understanding of cloud-based hosting platforms, particularly Oracle Exadata Cloud at Customer (ExaCC), and cloud architecture principles.

• Comprehensive knowledge of banking financials, profitability reporting, and regulatory requirements.

• Experience with the Cloudera Hadoop data platform is an advantage.

• Background in solution architecture, data modeling, and integration of large-scale financial platforms.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills focused on ensuring data accuracy and quality.
