Technician in Civil Engineering – Site Supervision

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee activities related to road construction, landscaping, and underground infrastructure (including watermain, sanitary, and storm sewers, etc.);

• Ensure adherence to project plans and specifications;

• Maintain compliance with existing environmental regulations;

• Review and verify various payment certificates;

• Coordinate and authorize work conducted by the laboratory;

• Prepare and finalize the daily report;

• Issue notifications of non-compliance;

• Conduct measurements and assess progress quantities (for progressive pay items).

• Monitor changes and approve modifications in collaboration with the project manager;

• May undertake office tasks (such as estimating and design reviews) during periods when the site is not operational.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma (DES), a DEC in civil engineering, or a related field;

• Have 5 to 10 years or more of pertinent experience;

• Completed training in civil engineering site supervision (infrastructure/civil);

• Familiarity with the City of Montreal's specifications and procedures;

• Knowledge of MTQ standards and BNQ standards;

• Hold the ASP Construction card;

• Strong proficiency in spoken and written French;

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle;

• Enjoy outdoor work (in both summer and winter conditions);

• Capability to work extended hours on-site.
