Technician in automatic control, HVAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Responsible for programming and commissioning various systems, calibrating equipment, integrating with central systems, and delivering customer training.

• Execute project delivery tasks while adhering to budget and schedule constraints.

• Plan and manage timelines for specific project delivery and maintenance activities.

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on diverse digital control systems.

• Ensure the optimization of customer sites.

• Provide technical sales support as necessary and collaborate with sales representatives in estimating new projects or service contracts.

• Participate in an on-call rotation (stand-by).

• Collaborate closely with dispatch and customers to meet both client and organizational expectations.

• Ensure customer satisfaction for a portfolio of clients, deliver five-star service, and offer advice and recommendations to clients.

• Responsible for documenting work in accordance with standards and maintaining proper documentation.

• Maintain and increase business volume for assigned contracts and projects.

• Must be willing to travel up to 10% within the province of Quebec and be available for on-call duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma in instrumentation/control, building mechanics, industrial automation, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in building mechanics, automation (industrial or building), or automatic control.

• At least one year of experience with basic Windows and Microsoft Office applications.

• Class 5 driver's license.

• Proficient written comprehension in English.

• Ability to travel within the province up to a maximum of 10% of the time.

• Capability to work on-call (stand-by).

• The selected candidate must obtain security clearances required by clients.
