This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Create, compose, and refine technical documents, reports, manuals, SOPs, templates, and briefings associated with financial analysis and program management.
• Convert intricate financial, contractual, and technical information into straightforward, user-friendly documents.
• Oversee document repositories, version control, and configuration management processes.
• Collaborate with program managers on library management, contact management, meeting facilitation, and task tracking.
• Support the development of schedules, budgets, cost estimates, spend plans, and financial reports.
• Evaluate financial data, encompassing budget-versus-actuals, variance analysis, and funding profiles.
• Record financial processes, workflows, controls, best practices, and training materials.
• Assist with acquisition documentation, program management plans, cost estimates, contract documentation, and milestone reviews.
• Gather insights from subject-matter experts and generate integrated, compliant deliverables.
• Engage in meetings and working groups; document minutes and action items.
• Assess documents for clarity, accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Organize document reviews and approvals, track feedback, and apply revisions.
• Prepare briefings and supplementary materials for leadership and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree (4-year) in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Active Secret clearance or the capability to obtain and maintain one.
• 2–5+ years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or comparable communication-focused/project management roles.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Teams, Confluence, or other similar collaborative platforms.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Keen attention to detail, including grammar and structure.
• Capacity to interview and collaborate with subject-matter experts and integrate various sources.
• Previous experience in DoW or federal defense acquisition programs is preferred.
• Understanding of DoW acquisition lifecycle documentation is preferred.
• Knowledge of DoW financial management processes, PPBE, or similar federal budgeting frameworks is preferred.
• Experience in interpreting spreadsheets and financial reports is preferred.
• Skill in summarizing financial data and insights in written format is preferred.
• Experience in supporting budgeting, cost tracking, or financial planning is preferred.
• Familiarity with document configuration management and version control is preferred.
• Experience in creating charts, tables, or infographics is preferred.
• Knowledge of style guides and Plain Language guidelines is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with comfort in handling numbers, spreadsheets, and structured data.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary, multicontractor team.
