Technical Writer – Developer Focused

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and produce documentation tailored for developers, ML engineers, and technical architects across various experience levels, including technical guides, API and client references, walkthroughs, and sample applications.

• Enhance the information architecture and user experience of the developer portal.

• Establish a cycle for maintenance and continuous improvement of our documentation.

• Work in close collaboration with engineering and product teams to document new features.

• Partner closely with customer success and developer advocates to identify user needs and address them through documentation.

• Gather and leverage both qualitative (e.g., user research) and quantitative (e.g., analytics) data to refine the documentation content and enhance user experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in planning, researching, writing, and editing technical documentation specifically for developers within a startup setting.

• Familiarity with using and documenting SDKs, APIs, and related tools.

• Competence in static site generators, version control, managing documentation as code, OpenAPI, and documentation platforms like Redocly or Readme.

• Exceptional writing skills with a strong focus on clarity, accuracy, and simplicity.

• Traits such as curiosity, thoroughness, organization, enthusiasm, and self-motivation are essential.

• Preferred but not mandatory: Experience with databases, machine learning, or search technologies.

• Experience in creating diagrams and video tutorials.
